Stocklio

Every store and stockist on one fast map

Shoppers research online and buy in person. Stocklio closes that gap: a fast, searchable store locator built into your theme, covering your own stores, your retail partners, or both — with a Find in store button on any product page.

What it is

Online browsers, in-store buyers

Most stores treat physical retail and the storefront as two separate things. The shopper does not: they check the website, then walk in. Stocklio is the piece that makes the second half possible.

The gap between researching and buying

A shopper who wants the item today does not want shipping — they want to know which nearby shop has it on the shelf. Stocklio answers that on your own site, on the product page they are already looking at, rather than sending them to Google to find out.

  • Locator page built into your theme, not an embedded iframe
  • Find in store on any product page, showing which stockists carry that item
  • Distance sorting and one-tap directions from the shopper's location
  • Works for your own stores, your retail partners, or both together

Features

What Stocklio does

A locator page, a product-level finder, and the import and styling work that usually turns both of them into a project.

Searchable locator map

Search by city or postcode, or use the shopper's current location. Results sort by distance, with a directions link on every card.

Bulk import and sync

Import hundreds of locations from a CSV, or sync the locations already configured in Shopify in one click. Export the same way.

Filters that narrow to one shop

City, postcode, product, store type, services, or a custom field of your own. A directory of eight locations does not need filtering; a directory of two hundred is unusable without it, and that is the point at which most locator apps stop being useful.

  • City and postcode
  • Product and store type
  • Your own custom fields

Matches your storefront exactly

Accent colour, corner radius, card layout and every string on the page, with a live preview as you change them. Translations are yours to write rather than machine output, so the locator reads in the language the shopper bought in.

  • Accent and radius tokens
  • List, map, or both
  • Your own translations

Mapbox or Google Maps

Choose the provider you already have a key and a billing relationship with, rather than being locked to one.

Custom fields per location

Opening hours, phone, services offered, parking — whichever facts your shoppers actually ask about, added per location and filterable.

How it works

How it works

01

Add your locations

Sync the locations already in Shopify in one click, or import hundreds of stockists from a CSV. Addresses are geocoded on import.

02

Place the locator

Drop the locator into any page from the theme editor as an app block. No code, and no separate subdomain for the map to live on.

03

Turn on the Product Finder

Add the Find in store button to your product template and shoppers see which nearby stockists carry that exact item.

Style it to match

Set the accent colour, radius and layout, translate the strings, and the locator reads as part of your storefront rather than a bolted-on widget.

Two decisions behind the build

Where the locator renders, and whether the directory is your shops or somebody else's.

A theme surface, not an embedded widget

Most locators render inside an iframe on the vendor's domain. That ships faster, and it is why those maps never quite match the site around them, load late, and cannot be read by a search engine. Stocklio renders as part of your theme.

  • Your domain, so the locator page is indexable
  • Your theme tokens, so it matches without a second design pass
  • Rendered with the page rather than mounted afterwards
  • Removable from the theme editor, like any other block

Stockists are not the same as your own stores

A brand selling through retail partners has a directory problem rather than a store problem: hundreds of addresses somebody else owns, changing constantly, each carrying a different part of the range. Stocklio treats that as the normal case, not an edge case.

  • Own stores and retail partners in one directory
  • Per-location product coverage, so the finder stays accurate
  • Bulk updates by CSV rather than one form at a time
  • Custom fields for anything a partner needs stated

Requirements and compatibility

Shopify plan
Any plan, including Shopify Plus. Nothing on this page is Plus-only.
Permissions
Read on products and inventory, so the Product Finder can tell which stockists carry an item, plus online store editing rights to place the locator as a theme app extension. No customer or order access.
Theme
Online Store 2.0 theme for the app block. Older themes need a small manual install, which we will do for you.
Map provider
Mapbox or Google Maps. Use your own key and billing account, or ask us and we will walk through setting one up.
Location data
A CSV of addresses is enough to start. Anything already configured as a Shopify location syncs without a file at all.
Data retention
Location and stockist records are kept while the app is installed and deleted on uninstall. Export them to CSV at any time.
FAQ

Stocklio questions, answered

Stocklio is a Shopify store locator and stockist directory app that puts every location you sell through on one fast, searchable map inside your own theme. It covers your own shops, your retail partners, or both, and adds a Find in store button to product pages so shoppers can see which nearby stockists carry that exact item.

It closes the gap between researching online and buying in person. A shopper who wants an item today will not wait for shipping — they will search for somewhere nearby that stocks it, and if your site cannot answer that question they will ask Google and may find a competitor instead. A locator keeps that answer, and that shopper, on your storefront.

The Product Finder is a Find in store button placed on any product page. Tapping it shows the nearby stockists that carry that specific product, with the distance and stock state on each one, so the shopper goes to a shop that actually has the item rather than to the nearest shop and a wasted trip. It is included on the Growth and Pro plans.

Shoppers search by city or postcode, or share their current location for distance sorting. Results can be narrowed by product, store type, services, or any custom field you define on a location. Every result card carries a one-tap directions link that opens the shopper's own maps app.

Two ways. Locations already configured in Shopify sync in one click with no file at all. Everything else — retail partners, stockists, franchise addresses — imports from a CSV, hundreds at a time, with addresses geocoded on import. You can export the same data back out to CSV whenever you need it.

Either — you choose, and both are supported on the Growth and Pro plans. Use whichever provider you already have a key and a billing relationship with rather than being locked to one. If you have neither, ask on a demo call and we will walk through the setup.

Yes. Stocklio is a theme app block styled from your accent colour, corner radius and card layout, with a live preview as you change them, so it matches your storefront on the first load. There is no iframe and no second dashboard to restyle.

Yes, on the Growth and Pro plans. Every string on the locator is editable and translatable, so a shopper browsing in Spanish, Japanese or French reads the locator in that language rather than in machine-translated English.

Up to 10 on the free plan, 150 on Starter, 1,500 on Growth, and unlimited on Pro. Pricing is tied to location count because the location count is what actually drives the geocoding and the search work.

There is a free plan covering up to 10 locations. Starter is $12 a month, Growth is $29 and Pro is $79, each with a 7-day free trial and roughly 20% off on annual billing — $115.20, $278.40 and $758.40 a year respectively. All charges are billed in USD through Shopify, every 30 days, on your Shopify invoice.

Both. The free plan runs indefinitely with up to 10 locations and includes the locator map, store search, directions and basic styling. Every paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial, so the CSV import, the filters and the Product Finder can be tested against your real locations before you pay for anything.

Minutes for a small directory. Install the app, sync or import your locations, add the locator block to a page from the theme editor, and set your colours. There is no code to write and no developer needed on an Online Store 2.0 theme.

No. The locator is a theme app block rendered with the page rather than a script that mounts afterwards, so there is no layout shift and nothing blocking first paint. The map itself loads only on the page carrying the locator, not site-wide.

It helps, because the locator lives on your own domain rather than inside a third-party iframe, so the page and its content are crawlable and indexable. That is the difference between a store locator that can rank for near-me searches and one a search engine cannot read at all.

Yes, and that is a first-class case rather than a workaround. A brand selling through retail partners can list hundreds of third-party stockists, record which part of the range each one carries so the Product Finder stays accurate, and bulk-update the lot by CSV as partners change.

It works on any Online Store 2.0 theme as an app block; an older theme needs a small manual install, which we will do for you. On uninstall the block is removed with the app and your location records are deleted — export them to CSV first if you want to keep them.

Stocklio is built by TLX Apps, the Shopify app studio of Tetralogicx (Pvt) Ltd, which also builds Shopify themes, headless storefronts and custom apps for merchants. It is listed on the Shopify App Store under the Store locator category.
