Ordexa handles the operational middle of an order: which courier gets it, whether the cash actually arrived, what the customer was told, and what that order says about the customer. Built for stores where cash on delivery is a real share of revenue.
Most order apps solve one slice: a courier integration, or a notification tool, or a CRM. Ordexa exists because those slices share the same data and splitting them across three apps means reconciling three sources of truth by hand.
A single order carries the courier assignment, the remittance state, the notification history and the customer signal. Keeping them together is what makes reconciliation possible without exporting anything.
Four operational jobs that normally take four apps and a spreadsheet to join up.
Weight, destination, COD versus prepaid, product type — the conditions your dispatch team already uses, written once and applied at fulfilment.
Several carriers live at once, with a fallback when the preferred one has no coverage for a destination.
Import the courier’s payout file and Ordexa matches it against the orders it should cover. What matches clears; what does not lands in an unmatched queue with a reason. This is the part stores usually do in a spreadsheet, and it is where the money goes missing.
Confirmation, dispatch and delivery messages on the channel most COD customers actually read, with the send history kept on the order rather than in a separate tool.
Segments built from order history: repeat buyers, first-time COD, high refusal rate, lapsed. Available to Shopify as customer tags.
Per-courier delivery and refusal rates, remittance ageing, and which segments are costing you on returns.
Write your dispatch conditions in the app: destination, weight, payment method, product type. They run at fulfilment from then on.
Each new order picks up a courier when it is fulfilled. Exceptions surface in a queue rather than failing silently.
Confirmation, dispatch and delivery notifications go out on WhatsApp, with the history attached to the order.
Import the courier payout file. Matched orders clear; unmatched ones queue with a reason so somebody can chase them.
The reconciliation and the notification history are the parts that change how an operations team spends its week.
An unmatched remittance is not useful on its own. Ordexa says why: the amount differs, the order was already marked remitted, the reference does not exist, or the courier reported a return that your store still shows as delivered.
When a customer says they were never told, the answer is on the order: what was sent, when, to which number, and whether it was delivered. No cross-referencing a messaging dashboard.
Priced on monthly order volume, because that is what drives the cost of running it. Every plan includes the full confirm, ship, collect and reconcile workflow; the tiers differ on volume, warehouses, team seats and reporting depth.

Ordexa is the operations backbone for post-order commerce: one platform that confirms orders to filter fakes, ships with any carrier, tracks every delivery attempt, collects and reconciles cash on delivery, and attributes real profit per order. It replaces the five disconnected tools most COD and multi-channel stores run a single order through.
Every order runs the same six stages regardless of where it came from: placed, confirmed, shipped, in transit, delivered, counted. Orders are captured from Shopify and manual channels into one inbox, verified before you pay a courier, shipped with stock deducted, tracked through attempts and RTO, logged when COD is collected, then matched against remittance and costed for profit.
Ordexa confirms the customer before the parcel leaves, by call and by WhatsApp, and only a confirmed order moves to ready-to-ship. This matters because more than 30% of COD orders are fake or never confirmed. Shipped anyway, they come back as a return you paid a courier for twice.
Shopify connects by OAuth with two-way sync, and orders taken on WhatsApp, Instagram, by phone or as a walk-in are entered into the same inbox. Once captured, a manual order runs the identical confirm, ship and collect pipeline as a Shopify order, so there is no second workflow to maintain.
No carrier API account is required. Ordexa books and tracks through aggregators and direct integrations covering TCS, Leopards, M&P, Trax, BlueEx, PostEx, Daewoo, DHL, FedEx, OCS and around thirty more. Where no integration exists you attach a tracking number by hand and the order still moves through the same timeline.
COD is logged against the order at the moment of delivery, then matched against what each courier actually remits. The result is a running view of collected, remitted and outstanding, so the gap between what was delivered and what reached your bank is a number you can see rather than a spreadsheet you rebuild every month.
Yes. Delivery attempts, reattempts and returns to origin are tracked in real time on the order timeline, and a failed attempt is treated as a step in the workflow with a next action rather than a dead end. Failed-attempt costs are carried into that order’s profit calculation.
Ordexa builds a true per-order P&L from revenue excluding tax, product cost of goods, shipping, failed-attempt costs, packaging and allocated expenses. Profit is attributable by channel, by product and by team member, and order snapshots are immutable, so a later price or cost change cannot quietly rewrite last quarter’s margin.
Yes. Ordexa tracks available, reserved and incoming stock with full logs, supports multi-warehouse stock and transfers, and deducts inventory when a shipment is created rather than at checkout, which is the correct moment in a market where a share of orders will never be confirmed.
Yes. Access is channel-scoped and role-based with fine-grained permissions and a full audit log, so a confirmation agent, a dispatcher and an accountant each see the part of the pipeline they work in and nothing else.
A BI suite of around fifty-five reports covering courier delivery and refusal rates, COD collection and remittance ageing, channel and product profitability, customer lifetime value, and expenses tracked against P&L. Reporting depth varies by plan, from basic on Free through to full BI on Scale.
No. Ordexa reads and writes orders, fulfilments and customers through the Admin API and adds its own screens alongside. Your existing Shopify workflow, exports and reporting keep working exactly as they do now.
Minutes. Connect Shopify with OAuth, add your couriers, and start on the free plan with no credit card. Confirmation scripts, courier rules and expense categories are configured afterwards as you go, and none of it needs a developer.
There is a free plan covering 50 orders a month, then Starter at $29 for 500 orders, Growth at $59 for 2,000 orders and Scale at $99 for 10,000 orders a month. Every plan includes the full confirm, ship, collect and reconcile workflow; the tiers differ on volume, warehouses, team seats and reporting depth. You can cancel at any time.
Ordexa is in beta for COD and multi-channel merchants and you can start on the free plan today. AI order confirmation is live in beta, smart routing and risk scoring are rolling out, and automatic remittance matching is on the near roadmap. We will tell you plainly on a demo call which of those is running for your setup.
Yes, and you should. Ordexa sends through your own approved WhatsApp Business sender so messages come from your brand rather than a shared one. Approval is between you and the provider; we will walk through the setup.
Order and message records held by Ordexa are deleted on uninstall. Anything written back to Shopify, such as fulfilments and customer tags, stays in Shopify because it is yours. While the app is installed, order snapshots are kept immutable rather than overwritten, so your history stays auditable.
Book a demo and bring last month’s courier payout file. We will run it through the reconciliation on the call and you can see what it finds.
Tell us what you are building and we will come back with a straight read on scope — including when the answer is that you do not need us.
